“...This pencil won't make you a better designer”
This is the Brass Chunky. It's not a pen for a lawyer's office; it's a mechanical pencil for the workshop. You don't need it. It won't make you a better designer, and it won't make you a better woodworker. Truthfully, it doesn't perform any better than an everyday $0.30 mechanical pencil... but it does excel in one aspect.
You see, while designing and prototyping the Brass Chunky, I had two goals. First, I wanted it to look and feel like it belonged on a workbench. Second, and most importantly, I wanted it to bring me a little bit of joy every time I picked it up. And I'm happy to report... it does.
So again. You don't need a Brass Chunky mechanical pencil. No one does. But maybe... just maybe...you want one.
