When creating Sample 73, my goal was to make it as good as or better than my favorite hard oil finishes—and I really think we did it!
PROTECTION:
Sample 73 had to be as protective as the best hard oil finishes, so that one coat is all you need. Problem solved.
CONTAINER:
I was tired of 20% of my finish skinning over and going to waste. I wanted people to get 99% of the finish out of the container and onto their projects. Problem solved.
APPLICATION:
Sample 73 had to be easy to apply, on large flat surfaces AND in nooks and crannies where other finishes struggle. Problem solved.
RESULTS:
Sample 73 is designed to be easy to apply and protective enough to give great results with just one coat. And the more you apply, the better it gets. A truly beautiful finish.

My favorite products are hard oil finishes, and I've tried almost all of them. Many are great, but my goal was to create something that combined my favorite aspects of each into one product that excels in every category. I wanted to use the highest quality inputs possible, even if it meant the price had to be a bit higher. I want the best finish for the user…and for me.
